| Mandy's Magical Mulled Wine - enjoy this warm and sweet treat on a crisp fall afternoon or sip under the stars on a chilly night. Kit includes one each, Banana Belt Red and Blush, mulling spices and recipe. A "hot" seller here at the winery and makes a great gift.
Mandy's Magical Mulled Wine Recipe
1 bottle of Banana Belt Blush
1 bottle of Banana Belt Red
1 cup of brown sugar (or to taste)
One bag of mulling spices
In a large saucepan or crockpot, pour in both bottles of wine. Stir in the brown sugar to dissolve and float the bag of mulling spices in the mixture. Warm slowly, DO NOT BOIL!! It's best to mull for several hours or more depending on how spicy you want it. If you have any left over cover tightly, refrigerate and gently re-warm later. The spice bag can be re-used several times so remember to buy a couple of extra bottles of Banana Belt Blush and Red. |
