| This vintage of Estate White is a divine example of our vineyard's incredible white hybrids. An "Estate Wine" can only be labeled as such if the winery has total control and influence over the entire production from growth of the grape to bottling of the finished product.
Our Estate White represents the "lands' choice" from the 2006 harvest, which encouraged our winemakers to create this unique blend of Vidal Blanc, Villard and Cayuga. This clean, dry wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks, thus preserving each variety's fruity character. Atwater's Estate Wine series was created to showcase our winemakers' unique talents of blending different varieties of grapes. Most blending occurs after fermentation, and is equivalent to an artist's rendering of color on a canvas. Our winemakers select their choice of grapes for these blends from the best grapes grown in any particular year. Perfectly balanced to go with a variety of foods ranging from oysters or chicken to vegetarian delights. |
